CRITICAL | Blackwater Community First Responders would like to let the local community know that we will be carrying out a training exercise tonight at 7pm in Millstreet Town

You may notice our Community First Responders active in the area at this time

Please don’t be alarmed or concerned — this is only a planned training exercise. 😊

We’re carrying out this training to keep our skills sharp and ensure we’re ready to support our community when needed.

The countdown is on for Millstreet Vintage Club Model Show taking place on Sunday, 11th October 2026 at K&L, Millstreet – P51 X683, from 10:30am to 5:30pm.

A fantastic selection of models and displays will be on show, including:

All proceeds from the event will be going to CRITICAL Emergency Medical Response

Delighted to attend Vintage & Veteran Car Show today in Banteer Community Sportsfield and Park in aid of Irish Heart Foundation ❤️

We provided educational demos on CPR today to members of the public

🎉 THEY DID IT! 🚴‍♂️🚴‍♂️

Dan and Jack have rolled into Sandymount, completing their Coast 2 Coast 4 CRITICAL challenge. Salthill to Sandymount, 243 km in a single day. What an effort. 👏

From the west coast to the east in one go, all to raise funds for CRITICAL and CRITICAL CFR Deansgrange. Every kilometre they rode helps put trained volunteer responders on the ground in those first vital minutes of an emergency.

We are so proud of these two. A massive well done to Dan and Jack. 💚
