Your Peak Performance Journey Helping you Unlock Your Peak Potential in body, mind & spirit

Have you ever noticed that just as you begin to relax, unexpected emotions start to surface?

For many people, holidays and quieter periods create something that’s often missing from everyday life: **space**.

And in that space, thoughts, worries or emotions we’ve been pushing aside can finally make themselves known.

It doesn’t necessarily mean something is wrong. Sometimes it simply means we finally have the capacity to notice what’s already been there.

This is one of the reasons I value EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques or Tapping). It offers a gentle way to process difficult emotions while helping to calm the nervous system.

If this resonates with you, I’d love to hear your experience in the comments.

For a long time, I thought stress was something you dealt with in your head.

But over the years — both personally and in my work — I’ve learned how stress actually lives in the body.

It shows up as:

• tight shoulders
• shallow breathing
• jaw tension
• feeling wired but exhausted
• a body that can’t fully relax

This is why movement is so important, not as another thing to push through… but as a way to help your body release tension and feel safe again.

It’s also why I love working with approaches like Pilates.

When done in the right way, it’s not just about strength or posture.

It’s about reconnecting with your body, softening tension, and rebuilding a sense of steadiness from the inside out.

Many women don’t need harder workouts.

They need the right kind of movement.

The power of movement never ceases to amaze me. Move your body to:
Move your mind
Shift your mood
Shift your state
For focus
To regulate your nervous system
…and just to feel good!

Moving our body every day in some form or another is not negotiable, it’s essential.
I love a variety of movement, Pilates, walking in nature, weights, HIIT, rebounding, stretching….
