As a midwife, I bring 25 years of clinical experience — antenatal classes, birth support, postnatal home care.
As an IBCLC, I bring 15 years of lactation expertise — from tricky latches to simple feeding reassurance.
As a doula, I bring hands-on, non-clinical support — day or night, one visit or ongoing care.
But underneath every hat I wear, it’s the same thing: care that’s holistic, evidence based, compassionate, and built around you — not a “one size fits all” protocol.

So I got my act together and made an other video! Nothing major, just keeping up my presence here and giving you some updates on my practice… I am incredibly lucky that my practice has become very busy so I don’t n ex to rely on posting here! Most of my work I get is through word of mouth, so if you are one of the lovely people I have worked with: thank you, thank you, thank you so much for spreading the word! 🙏🏻 So, really what’s new is that my services now also include “doula care”, mainly postnatal but I can occasionally provide birth support if you book very early in your pregnancy… All updates are on my website, so go check it out! www.little-miracles.ie Also. I would just like to add here, or correct myself on the doula care refunds / private maternity care refunds by health insurances: most health insurances provide a certain level of cover (depending your contract with them) that can cover for private midwifery care, because my care to you is in addition to your HSE care, not replacing it, you will most likely use your maternity allowances for your private HSE care if you chose to go down the private maternity care route. If you went public, please check your covet and see what’s left to use on your insurance (if you have private health care insurance) because most of my services can be covered by your insurance, if not under midwifery, lactation consultations or baby massage, look for “Doula Care” on your policy. Thank you so much Shiobhán from for the very enriching first aid course you hosted for us yesterday! First aid, CPR, chocking, sepsis, seizure… hopefully we’ll never need to pull these skills out of the toolbox, but it feels great to be prepared for all kinds of scenarios…
