Thanks to everyone at MTU Cork School of Music who attended the Learning Community event on Neurodivergent Learners, hosted by MTU DSS and Connect Therapy. It was a thought-provoking and engaging session that prompted important conversations about accessibility for dyslexic students in music and performing arts.

Helping children tell stories, follow instructions & build confidence ๐Ÿ’ฌ

Using narrative activities and barrier games, we can support children to:

โœจ organise and sequence their ideas
โœจ retell stories more clearly
โœจ understand and use key concepts (first, next, then, last)
โœจ improve listening and following instructions (in, on, under)

These simple, structured activities make learning engaging, visual, and effective.
