Journeys crossing at Traumacare Clinic ✨

Our patient driver Scott was on hand to accompany both Lorraine and Peter during their appointments. Lorraine, one of our spinal patients, attended the clinic for a dressing change as she continues to make steady progress on her recovery journey.

Meanwhile, knee patient Peter was at Traumacare Clinic for his pre-surgery outpatient consultation and is now all set for his knee surgery today. ✨

It’s always encouraging to see patients at different stages of their journey, from ongoing recovery appointments to preparing for surgery.

We wish Peter the very best for his procedure and look forward to following his progress in the days and weeks ahead. ❤️‍🩹

Ann first travelled with Surgery Now in January 2025 for her hip surgery with Dr. David Gonzalez, taking the brave step towards living with less pain and getting her mobility back. After such a positive experience, Ann has now returned to Spain once again, this time for spinal surgery with Dr Daniel Gomez 🇮🇪✈️🇪🇸

After long waits in Ireland and months of managing pain day to day, yesterday at Traumacare Clinic was a moment of real change for Cian, Lorraine and Susan. 🇮🇪

Knee, hip and spinal patients, all finally stepping forward into treatment they had been waiting far too long for. Each one carrying their own story, but all with the same hope, to get their life back.✨

Dr. Hugo Marquina was at the heart of it all, bringing not only his skill and experience, but a calm reassurance that patients truly feel in moments like these. His care and attention give people confidence when they need it most, and that makes a lasting difference far beyond the operating room. Scott, our patient driver, was also there as always, supporting patients through every early start, quiet worry and step forward. ✨

A special moment as Margaret returns home to Ireland 🇪🇸✈️🇮🇪

After 6 long years on a spinal surgery waiting list and living with ongoing pain, Margaret was able to travel to Spain within weeks for her surgery. She has now returned home safely, with her husband and daughter by her side, to continue her recovery surrounded by familiar comforts and loved ones.

We wish Margaret continued healing and happier, more comfortable days ahead as she takes the next steps in her recovery ❤️‍🩹
