Our Mindfulness class wrapped up the term in the best way possible: out and about in the city! 🌿

Kathryn O'Boyle brought the group on a wonderful trip to the Chester Beatty Library and the National Gallery of Ireland - a day of beautiful art, quiet reflection and good company.
Such a fitting way to close out the term for a group that has been exploring inner peace and presence all year.
Well done to everyone, and a big thank you to Kathryn for making it happen! ✨

Yesterday, all of us - women from the Loreto Centre, Women’s Collective Ireland - Ronanstown, and The Bungalow Liffey Partnership, all enrolled in the Women, Gender & Social Justice programme - had our final prep session in UCD. 🤩

Aideen Quilty, Head of UCD Social Policy, Social Work and Social Justice, spoke beautifully about how this programme can truly impact women's lives.

Beatrice Hughes and Krisna Ruette‑Orihuela led lovely activities meant to help us check in with ourselves, our emotions and with others.

Lisa and Sharon, past learners, shared what the journey meant to them and Beatrice Hughes, tutor at CDETB Adult Education Service, Crumlin Area answered all our questions about the academic programme starting this September.

Huge thanks to everyone involved in making this possible and congrats to all the courageous women who decided to take a first step in changing their lives.

We can't wait to see all the women back in September. The journey is only beginning! 💫

💜 And just like that... our last tutorial of the Intro to Women, Gender & Social Justice is done! 💜

Yesterday we wrapped up with a beautiful conversation about self-worth and positive change. Honestly, the perfect note to finish on. So proud of everyone who showed up week after week, shared their stories and grew together. 🌱
But we're not quite finished yet! This Thursday we head to UCD for our final day - a lovely way to celebrate how far this group has come.

And here's the exciting part... the full academic programme, the UCD Certificate in Women, Gender & Social Justice, kicks off this September! We can't wait to welcome back familiar faces and meet some new ones too. 💫

Fancy trying your hand at something new this summer? Come along for five weeks of fun, mess and making cool stuff! 🌈

We'll be doing leaf printing, designing greeting cards, floral drawing, acrylic painting and even relief art using bits and bobs from nature like pine cones 🌿🌸
