Yesterday, all of us - women from the Loreto Centre, Womenโs Collective Ireland - Ronanstown, and The Bungalow Liffey Partnership, all enrolled in the Women, Gender & Social Justice programme - had our final prep session in UCD. ๐คฉ
Aideen Quilty, Head of UCD Social Policy, Social Work and Social Justice, spoke beautifully about how this programme can truly impact women's lives.
Beatrice Hughes and Krisna RuetteโOrihuela led lovely activities meant to help us check in with ourselves, our emotions and with others.
Lisa and Sharon, past learners, shared what the journey meant to them and Beatrice Hughes, tutor at CDETB Adult Education Service, Crumlin Area answered all our questions about the academic programme starting this September.
Huge thanks to everyone involved in making this possible and congrats to all the courageous women who decided to take a first step in changing their lives.
We can't wait to see all the women back in September. The journey is only beginning! ๐ซ
