Today is World Elder Abuse Awareness Day. 💙

Every older person deserves to be treated with dignity, respect and care. This day raises awareness of the abuse, neglect and exploitation that many older adults experience and encourages communities to speak up and support those at risk.

If you or someone you know may be experiencing abuse, support is available through local HSE Safeguarding and Protection Teams.
