My happy place ... βοΈ π β΅
It was hard for me to get to this point.
I have a degree in foreign languages and literature and a master's degree in creative writing and a certificate in proofreading... I always wrote but I couldn't make a living out of it and always ended up in jobs that killed my soul. Of course, from the outside, they were safe, they allowed me to make a living, so a lot of people around me didn't understand when I just dropped everything and withdrew from places and people ... but I could feel everything withering, I was sickened by how useless I felt, I was desperate to understand what my place was here ...
My life now isn't perfect for sure but when I look back I remind myself to give myself a pat on the back for getting to where I am now. Being self-employed brings its own complexities but I wouldn't change this with anything. I just got to spend a week in the sun in Sardinia, "working" π with the best people on earth. I get to create practices, I get to help people with their bodies and their minds. I get to go to incredible places and to share my days with amazingly kind and mindful people. I get to improve myself every day through study, practice and observation. I get to learn stuff I'm interested in. I get to go off with my dog some mornings when I have time off. I get to work on myself in the best way. I am happy to go to work on Mondays... enough said!
