Testimony:
From the ages of 13-21 years-old, I was in and out of therapy.
I saw psychiatrists, therapists, counsellors, specialists, but I only continued to spiral. Truthfully by 21 I had lost hope in recovery. Every appointment felt dehumanising;
I was depressed,
I had been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, I was anorexic,
I was a problem desperately looking for someone to help me.
Everyone around me had lost faith, I was on deaths door mentally and physically but then
I discovered
Agents of Change.
Colm was the first professional to treat me as a human being,
as an equal. At
Agents of Change I finally found a safe place where I could be honest not only with the professional but also myself. Colm guided me every step of the way on a gruelling but beautiful journey of self discovery and growth.
Over the months I noticed my thoughts were finally my own, my drive returned, my fight reignited , my purpose became clear, my relationships flourished.
Agents of Change was the catalyst for rebirth at a time where I was already considered dead.
It’s been a year now and
I still mentally retrace our sessions, calling upon the resources Colm provided during hard times. With this knowledge and support.
I have never looked back to my old coping mechanisms or destructive behaviours.

I can confidently say that Agents of Change not only changed my life but, it in fact made me realise that I want to live.
