A full postural assessment and consultation will indicate areas of dysfunction and/or tension that if left can begin to accumulate into inju

ry. The aims of the treatments include:
Injury prevention
Increased range of motion
Release of tension and stress
Reduction of scar tissue
Reduction of muscle stiffness
Increased injury recovery process
Increased blood circulation and lymphatic flow
Restoration of muscle length and balance
Improvement of posture
Improvement of flexibility

The first session includes a full postural and range of motion assessment. A variety of muscles and muscle groups will be tested and we will discuss any areas of pain or discomfort. The treatment will then be focused on these areas to provide the client with some relief of restriction and/or pain. I am certified in Remedial/Sports Massage, Myofascial Cupping, Electro Dry Needling, Myoskeletal Alignment Therapy, IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization), Kinesio Taping

Builder injuries? We can help.

If you do physically demanding work, you may be at greater risk of musculoskeletal injuries that can lead to back pain.

Repetitive tasks
Heavy lifting
Pushing
Pulling
Long hours on your feet

All can place ongoing strain on the joints and spine, increasing the risk of injury and, over time, impacting both physical and mental wellbeing.

Regular check-ups can help identify posture issues, back stiffness, muscle tightness, and movement limitations before they lead to pain or injury.

We can help keep your body moving well, reduce strain, and support long-term health and performance at work

🚨 Carpal tunnel treatments not working?

Your wrist pain may actually start in your neck.

What feels like carpal tunnel is often nerve compression higher up in the cervical spine (cervical radiculopathy) that radiates symptoms down the arm and into the hand.

If you’ve tried braces, stretches and injections but got little relief, the issue might not be in your wrist at all. Treating only the wrist won’t fix the real source.

Still dealing with wrist or hand symptoms that won’t go away?

We evaluate the entire chain neck, shoulder, elbow, and wrist to find the true origin of your symptoms for lasting relief.

🚨Most common Crossfit injuries

CrossFit places huge demands on the body.
High volume, repeated overhead work, heavy lifting under fatigue, running, jumping, and cycling all place stress on different tissues in different ways.

The interesting part is that most injuries we see in CrossFit athletes are not “acute injuries.”
They’re usually overload problems that build up over time.

A few of the most common:

▪︎Shoulder impingement
Usually from repeated overhead volume combined with poor scapular control or reduced thoracic extension. Common in kipping movements, snatches, and handstand work.

▪︎Lumbar disc herniation
Often linked to fatigue changing movement strategy. As athletes tire, they lose hip contribution and overuse the lumbar spine during hinging and barbell cycling.

▪︎Anterior hip pain
Deep squatting, catching cleans, and repeated hip flexion under load can create compression at the front of the hip, especially when pelvic control is poor.

▪︎Achilles tendinopathy or tears
Very common with running and double unders. Tendons usually flare when training volume increases faster than the tissue can adapt.

▪︎Wrist pain
Typically shows up in front rack positions, handstands, or gymnastics work when mobility and load tolerance aren’t there yet.

▪︎Anterior knee pain
Usually related to high tendon and patellofemoral loading from squats, lunges, box jumps, and volume accumulation.

The important thing is that most of these injuries are very manageable when caught early.

Treatment is not just about reducing pain.
It’s about improving movement quality, restoring tissue capacity, and making sure the body can tolerate the demands of the sport long term

STUBBORN LIKE PAIN BEHIND YOUR SHOULDER BLADE ISN'T A KNOT—IT’S A NECK TRAP! .

Do you constantly feel an invisible knife dug deep between your spine and your shoulder blade?

A relentless, burning line of pain that makes you want to constantly crack your upper back or lean against a sharp corner for relief? You’ve been told you just have "bad posture" or a "rhomboid knot." You’ve tried every massage gun and deep-tissue roller on the market but the knife stays driven deep into your flesh.

That burning line isn't a muscle strain—it's a high-voltage alarm caused by the strangulation of your dorsal scapular nerve deep inside your neck.

When the nerve gets choked inside the neck muscle, it drops its electrical voltage. Because this nerve runs directly down the inner edge of your shoulder blade, the mechanical pinch in your neck flashes a continuous, blinding false-alarm referred pain line across your upper back.

At our clinic we use multiple modalities to treat the shoulder blade pain

When nerves misfire, calm the signals—not just the symptoms.

Neuropathic pain is a type of chronic pain that results from damage or dysfunction in the nervous system, rather than from an injury to tissues like muscles or joints. It occurs when nerves themselves are injured, irritated, or not working properly, sending incorrect pain signals to the brain.

This can happen due to conditions such as diabetes, shingles, nerve compression, spinal injuries, or certain neurological diseases.

People often describe neuropathic pain as burning, stabbing, shooting, tingling, or electric shock–like sensations, and it may persist even without an obvious ongoing injury.

Management usually involves a combination of approaches, including medications that target nerve signaling, physical therapy, and lifestyle strategies to reduce triggers and improve function.

Effective treatment often focuses on reducing symptoms and improving quality of life rather than completely eliminating the pain.

💥 Is your weak grip, thumb tension, triceps burnout, shoulder wobble, and clumsy hands actually coming from your NECK?

You’ve been blaming your workouts, “getting older,” tight forearms, or bad shoulders… but the real source could be cervical spine nerve compression (aka pinched nerve or cervical radiculopathy).

The nerves that power your grip, triceps, shoulder stability, thumb control, and hand precision all exit from your neck (mainly C5–C8 levels).

When posture, disc issues, or tightness compress them — signals get disrupted downstream. Result?

• Weaker grip & dropping things
• Constant thumb tension or pain
• Triceps fatigue even with light loads
• Unstable or aching shoulders
• Reduced hand dexterity & precision

This is surprisingly common in desk workers, lifters, phone scrollers, and anyone with forward head posture.

Don’t just chase the symptoms in your arms/hands.

If you have any above symptoms make an appointment with us and we can help.
