Over nine years, Imelda shaped what BAYADA Ireland became. She understood this work from every angle, whether that be the families who needed reassurance, the nurses who needed the right match, the children whose care could not wait. She held all of that at once, and she did it consistently.
She matched nurses to families with a care that went beyond scheduling. She made sure families felt confident that BAYADA was the right support for them. And when a nurse was unwell and a family faced Christmas Day without cover, Imelda took the shift herself.
That is not a small thing. That is what nine years of real commitment looks like.
BAYADA Ireland is in the position it is in today because of the work Imelda put in through her determination and always focused on the families and children at the centre of it.
She is moving on to a new role within paediatric care at Children's Health, and we are glad this work continues to have her in it.
We speak on behalf of clients, families, nurses, and the whole office when we say - thank you for everything, Imelda.
