Tinnitus can feel exhausting, especially when nobody else can hear what you are hearing.
For some people it is ringing. For others, buzzing, humming, static or hissing sounds that become more noticeable in quiet moments, during stress, or when trying to sleep. That is where Tinnitus Pro App comes in. 👂

Tinnitus Pro is a tinnitus management app designed to support people living with tinnitus every day, not just during appointments.

The app combines tools commonly used in tinnitus management, including:
• Personalised sound therapy
• Relaxation and mindfulness exercises
• Guided breathing support
• Educational resources about tinnitus
• Progress tracking and daily support tools

The goal is not simply to mask tinnitus, but to help reduce how intrusive and overwhelming it feels over time. Many people find that understanding their tinnitus better and having consistent daily support can make a real difference.

Tinnitus Pro may be introduced to you by our audiology experts as part of a wider tinnitus assessment and management pathway tailored to you at Beacon Audiology.

If tinnitus is affecting your daily life, our team can help you understand what is happening and explore the right support options for you.

👂 What makes a great audiologist?

According to Fiona, it starts with understanding the person behind the hearing test.

Every individual has different hearing needs, lifestyles and goals. Great hearing care means taking the time to listen, ask the right questions, and find solutions that fit seamlessly into everyday life.

Because better hearing is never one-size-fits-all.

Hearing loss is not always obvious.

For many people, the early signs begin gradually. Mis-hearing words, struggling in busy environments, asking others to repeat themselves or turning the TV up louder than everyone else.

These subtle changes can often appear long before someone realises their hearing may have changed.

At Beacon Audiology, our comprehensive diagnostic hearing assessments are designed to identify changes in hearing clearly and accurately, helping you better understand what is happening and what support may help.

Price matters. But so does what comes with it.

At Beacon Audiology, hearing care is built around expertise, experience, and genuinely understanding how hearing impacts everyday life.

Our highly trained diagnostic audiologists take the time to assess more than just your hearing levels. We focus on how you communicate, connect, work, socialise, and live day to day.

And when hearing technology is needed, we don’t think of them as simply hearing aids. We see them as lifestyle hearing devices designed to help you stay connected to the people, conversations, and moments that matter most.

Because better hearing is about more than sound. It’s about quality of life.

A full hearing assessment is the first step towards understanding what support may work best for you.

Your hearing test can come back “normal”... but that does not always mean there is nothing going on.

In this video, Katie, Diagnostic Audiologist at Beacon Audiology explains why some people still struggle with symptoms like tinnitus, difficulty hearing in noisy environments, or problems processing sound, even when their hearing levels fall within normal limits.

That is where deeper assessment matters.

At Beacon Audiology, we look beyond the basics to understand what may actually be affecting your hearing and listening experience, including referrals for tinnitus support or assessment for auditory processing difficulties where appropriate.

If something still feels “off” with your hearing, trust your instincts. There may be more to explore.

Hearing aids are not just about hearing more. They are about feeling more connected to the moments around you 👂

The more consistently you wear your hearing aids, the more natural sound begins to feel. Conversations become clearer, busy environments feel easier to manage, and your brain gradually adapts to hearing the sounds it may have been missing.

If your hearing aids are spending more time in the drawer than in your ears, this is your reminder to start wearing them daily.
