A lot of parents ask the same question when it comes to AAC. 👇

“Will it stop my child from talking?”

This is a completely understandable question to ask when you’re introduced to AAC for the first time.

But AAC doesn’t stop speech from developing; it supports it. 💕

When children have access to robust communication like AAC, they have more opportunities to understand and use language.

Remember, using mouth words isn’t the end goal here, communication is.

Being able to say whatever you want, whenever you want, to whoever you want.

AAC helps your child to be able to express themselves, their thoughts and feelings in whatever way works for them. ✨️

Learning to support your child in building confidence using their AAC is something you don’t have to keep figuring out alone.
