And it's super good value because the IICP are subsiding it!

Over the past 14 years, I designed and updated The Overcoming Process, always ready to find tune it through researching cutting edge theories and practices.

The Process is a solution focussed and clearly structured piece of worth which I guide you through over 5 weeks of one to one sessions. The first being a free consultation.

There are four pillars, each with 4 lessons. This post resonated with me as the first pillar identifies your motivation, your responsibility to yourself, you will learn about relationships and how you are responsible for you own mind and body right down to a cellular level. It may sound complex, but I have made it accessible even to younger clients (I'm currently working with a super duper 10 year old).

I am teaching the process in a workshop next weekend in the Institute of Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy (IICP). This will be 6 hours of self care, learning and practice. Think mini retreat both for those who want to integrate my process into their work or for those who want to learn to better mind themselves.

The good news is, it's super cheap as it's subsidised by the IICP.

I have had a couple of weeks to relax since school finished up.....it's taken me that long to even start to find my feet.

I think many people think working in a school rocks cause of the holidays and to be fair that's true, but also I give myself wholly to my students. I try to think like them, understand what might be coming and support them before they even know they need support. I try to be my most authentic self. After 9 months of that kind of work, it is the next week's that gives me the power and strength to start again in Sept.

So how can we get back to the middle and feel stable when life brings us on a tiring journey? How do we start to love ourselves?

We can come back to the NOW.....at each moment ....which starts with this moment....and this one....and this one....

And I do practice present moment awareness throughout the academic year but now I really get to ground myself in the now ...and I realise, you know what, some people might not like the way I retreat and catch myself, but that's ok, I love myself and so it doesn't matter.

My thesis was called
"From nowhere to now here"

It's the essence of my work.

Love to my students and any youth that needed the reminder.....you know what we have learned already....one love....trust yourself, set your future self up by being here now!

I'll start recapping here more over the summer ...I just need to learn how to use insta!!

I am honoured to have been invited to teach my Overcoming Anxiety Process to teachers, guidance counsellors and psychotherapists in the Institute of Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy Summer Series...and to be honest anyone else can come too. I make it totally accessible to all.

You will learn so much in only one half day workshop....and they are offering it at a super low cost of €95 which makes me really happy.

This is a wonderful moment.
