We invite you to join us for this screening, integration, conversation, reflection, and workshop.

Trauma is an invisible force that shapes our lives — the way we live, love, and understand the world around us. It is often the source of our deepest wounds.
Dr. Maté offers a new vision: a trauma-informed society in which parents, teachers, doctors, judges, and decision-makers are not focused on suppressing symptoms or judging behavior but instead seek to understand the underlying causes that give rise to distress, illness, and what we often label as “problematic” behavior.
He shows us a path toward both individual and collective healing.
According to Dr. Gabor Maté, the connection between anxiety, chronic illness, and the use of psychoactive substances is real — but not in the way we might usually think.
In the film The Wisdom of Trauma, we follow Dr. Gabor Maté — physician, bestselling author, and recipient of the Order of Canada — as he explores why Western society is facing an epidemic of anxiety, chronic illness, and addiction.

This documentary offers a deeply moving and valuable insight into the life’s work of a man devoted to understanding the connection between illness, addiction, trauma, and society.
The Wisdom of Trauma is a film everyone can benefit from watching. Trauma is not the way we wish to learn — and it is not only the most extreme events that shape us. It is a real human experience we all carry in some form. With a profoundly hopeful perspective, the film shows how we can move from trauma toward wholeness and healing.
The evening will be guided by Edelle O’Doherty trained in Compassionate Inquiry with Dr. Maté.
We hope you will consider joining us.
And if you can't make this one please PM us and we will be sure to notify you of the next screening

A fabulous afternoon and evening of learning with . .jaclynsmeaton confident and insightful presentation of the DUTCH test was engaging and incredibly informative.
If you or your clients, male or female, are on a journey at any stage of life, the DUTCH test is a no-brainer. Puberty, fertility, perimenopause, menopause, post menopause, andropause or any other health concerns such as # or to be adequately informed before starting HRT.

Thank you to for the warm welcome and the hugs and chats.
It was so great to attend, and wonderful to catch-up with colleagues. Great to see a full room and lots of new faces too!

This beautiful space was filled with beautiful women this morning.
We shared with intention, we spoke, and we listened, with curiosity and compassion.
We cried, we held space.
We laughed too.
We theb sat in comfort and silence together in the hazel yurt sauna as we released tension.
We swam in the freshwater pool together and we hugged afterwards.
It was beautiful.

I am filled with gratitude for the women who shared with honesty and bravery.
And also for Karl, Peter, and Gustav, who are just brilliant humans.

I can't wait for the next one.......stay tuned.
Soaces are limited to 10.
And we have another amazing treat coming in June that you wont want to miss.

It has been a busy few weeks for us so far this month. In the best way.
Finding your place in the world is an ongoing journey.
The best way to bring the best of yourself and what you would like to offer in the world can be a winding road.
To quote A.H. Almaas as it resonates with me so much:
“Your conflicts, all the difficult things, the problematic situations in your life are not chance or haphazard. They are actually yours. They are specifically yours, designed specifically for you by a part of you that loves you more than anything else. The part of you that loves you more than anything else has created roadblocks to lead you to yourself. You are not going in the right direction unless there is something pricking you in the side, telling you, “Look here! This way!” That part of you loves you so much that it doesn’t want you to lose the chance. It will go to extreme measures to wake you up, it will make you suffer greatly if you don’t listen. What else can it do? That is its purpose.”

🙏 Personally I am really looking forward to this Saturday myself.
The peace, tranquility and connection.
And I can't wait to welcome those who join me.

The view from our new special location.
More to be revealed with dates to come.

We will be running our first Women's Compassionate Inquiry Circle here.
A space for healing. To share and be held.

Compassionate Inquiry is an approach developed by Gabor Mate to help uncover and release the unconscious dynamics that can keep us disconnected from our true selves and from our inner essence and purpose. And also from those around us. This circle is for women to explore those unconscious drivers in a safe and compassionate space and to lend each other support in community

What would work best for you?
A Thursday evening or a Sunday evening?
Or either? Or both?
Let us know in the poll 🙏

We want to bring this gift to as many women as possible.
