We're proud to be sponsoring the AIMS Summit 2026 in Dublin today, bringing together healthcare leaders, innovators and decision-makers to explore the ideas shaping the future of healthcare.
Following yesterday's invitation-only opening day at Microsoft's European HQ, today's programme continues at RCSI, bringing together clinicians, policymakers, academics, patients and technology partners to examine what meaningful healthcare transformation looks like in practice.
What makes AIMS special isn't just the agenda. It's the conversations that challenge established thinking, the connections that span disciplines, and the relationships that continue long after the event has ended. It's no surprise that so many attendees return year after year.
Day one demonstrated exactly why. Rather than relying on traditional presentations, attendees followed the journey of "Grace", a fictional patient whose story highlighted the realities of navigating the healthcare system. Through a live simulation, healthcare leaders and technology partners came together to explore how data, innovation and collaboration can help create more connected, responsive care pathways.
As an organisation committed to advancing healthcare through innovation, Medica is delighted to be part of this important event.
We're also excited to share a preview of our upcoming whitepaper, High-Confidence Normal Triage: A Governed Route to Sustainable Emergency Radiology, developed by Dr Amrita Kumar, AI Clinical Lead at Medica. The paper explores how AI can be used responsibly to support emergency radiology services by helping prioritise time-critical cases, releasing reporting capacity and improving patient flow. It also outlines a governed approach to AI adoption in Ireland, aligned with national guidance and focused on safety, validation, human oversight and measurable benefit.
At a time when healthcare systems are under increasing pressure, we're looking forward to discussing how thoughtfully implemented and well-governed AI can support clinicians, improve operational resilience and ultimately deliver better outcomes for patients.
