The other half of the cold-and-flu cabinet: Gui Zhi Tang Wan , for when the cold comes in as **chills**, not a sore throat.
This is the classic **Wind-Cold** pattern: aversion to drafts, mild fever, stiff neck or achy shoulders, maybe a bit of sweating, runny nose with clear mucus. Different from Wind-Heat (throat first, feels hot, not much chills)- same season, different picture, different formula.
Same rule applies here, it works best caught early, right as that chilled, achy feeling sets in. Worth having beside the Yin Qiao in the cabinet, so whichever type shows up first, you’re ready.
⚠️ Food supplement, not a medicine, not a replacement for your GP. Not for pregnancy/breastfeeding without guidance, not for long-term use, and check with a practitioner if you’re on other meds.
