And just like that… we turn. 🍂
Hello October. 🤎
After a weekend of training, yesterday I had my first Dublin dip of the season… and it was gorgeous. 🌊
All summer, my swims are in Louth. Then, as the seasons turn and life shifts back to Dublin, so do my dips.
It felt like a little marker of the change.
Looking back over the last few months, I feel incredibly grateful. Grateful for a summer by the sea. For long days, swims, beach walks & sunsets. For hours on Meadow, through forests, fields and along the beach. 🐴
And for work that magically kept taking me outside. 🌿
Workplace wellbeing days and retreats, festivals, yoga in Temple Bar, gathering outdoors and, finally, our beautiful Autumn Equinox Homecoming Retreat.
I’m still feeling soooooo grateful for that day.
For the most gorgeous group of women who gathered together and gave themselves the gift of something we so rarely give ourselves…
Time and space to slow down.
To breathe.
To move.
To rest.
To connect.
To simply be.
There was so much living this summer. So much doing. So much outward energy.
And now nature is doing what she does so beautifully.
Gathering her harvest.
Changing colour.
Shedding.
Letting go. 🍂
And I am working on turning with her.
October is always a special month for me.
My birthday month. 🎂
Another trip around the sun, and a reminder that growing older really is a privilege.
So I’m welcoming the shift.
A little less outward.
A little more inward.
Dublin dips. 🌊
Autumn walks.
Cacao.
Candles.
Fluffy socks.
Earlier evenings.
Birthday celebrations.
And maybe a little witchy season too. 🌙✨
Thank you, summer. You were magic. ☀️
Hello October. I’m ready for you. 🤎
