Recently, we had the pleasure of bringing together our admin and support staff for a special get-together to celebrate and thank them for all they do. Their hard work, commitment and support are at the heart of everything we achieve, and their efforts never go unnoticed.✨

As a small token of our appreciation, each team member received a gift from The Fern Dean. It was wonderful to spend time together, recognise their contributions, and celebrate the difference they make every day.

Our CARA values, Caring, Ambitious, Responsive and Accountable, are at the heart of every interaction, every conversation and every moment of support within our home.

This month, our My Cara Moments event was a meaningful reminder of what these values truly represent in everyday life here at The Fern Dean. We were delighted to welcome DON Geraldine, who shared valuable insights into the importance of the CARA Values and took time to listen to the experiences and feedback of both residents and staff.

It was a wonderful opportunity to come together, reflect on compassion, respect and person-centred care, and celebrate the culture that makes our community so special.

From creating a warm and homely environment, to listening with empathy, responding with compassion and always following through with professionalism, CARA is more than a framework. It is the culture we live every single day.

At The Fern Dean, Chapter Two is more than a dining experience. It is a celebration of connection, conversation, and beautifully shared moments between residents, families, and friends.

Our recent Boxercise session at Fern Dean was an absolute knockout! 👊🔥

From jabs and hooks to laughter and high energy, everyone got moving, smiling, and feeling stronger together. 💪😊

Boxercise is great for:

✅ Improving coordination & balance
✅ Reducing stress and lifting mood
✅ Building confidence
✅ Having FUN while getting active!

✨An insight into our latest instalment of Chapter Two at Fern Dean.💛

Chapter Two is our monthly chef’s table experience where we transform one of our visiting rooms into an intimate pop-up restaurant for residents, families, and staff to come together, enjoy great food, and make special memories.

Guests enjoyed a four-course Mediterranean-inspired menu with wine pairings, created and served by our talented in-house chefs. 🍷🍽️

Thank you to everyone who joined us for another wonderful evening, and a special thank you to our amazing team and chefs for all the work that goes into making Chapter Two so special each month. 💛
