Mahon, Patrick (Paddy), (Late of Slane Road, Crumlin). 15th June 2026. Peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care of the staff at St. Catherine’s Ward, Our Lady’s Hospice Harold’s Cross. Predeceased by his parents Peter and Lily.



Sadly missed and always remembered by his sisters Mary and Margaret, brother-in-law Fergus, nephews Fergus, Wesley, Ricky and David, nieces-in-law Stacey and Abbie, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Massey Bros. Funeral Home, 177 Crumlin Road, D12 F864 on Thursday, 18th of June from 3pm - 5pm. Funeral Mass on Friday at 10am in St. Bernadettes Church, Clogher Road, followed by burial to Palmerstown Cemetery.



Paddy’s family would like to express their heartfelt thank you to Dr. Eve and her team at St. James’s Hospital, and to all the carers, nurses and staff of St. Catherine’s Ward at Our Lady’s Hospice Harold’s Cross, for the exceptional care, kindness and compassion shown to Paddy throughout the last year.

McGowan (née Donnelly), Rita (Late of Galtymore Road, Drimnagh, Dublin 12), 1st June 2026, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family in St. Catherine’s Ward, Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross. Predeceased by her loving husband and best friend Patrick (Paddy), her adored son Robert (Bob), and daughter Audrey.



Rita will be sadly missed by her heartbroken daughter Lorraine, son-in-law Rickey, grandchildren Derek, Ian, Sinead, Paul, Alan and Daniel, Ian’s partner Leanne, and her great-grandchildren Keith, Eva, Kayla, Abbie, Jayden, Layton, and Kyran. She will be fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Sally, brother-in-law Bobby, cousin Frank, nieces, nephews, extended family, wonderful friends and neighbours.

Patrick (Paddy) Lee, (late of St. Peter's Drive, Walkinstown, Dublin) passed away peacefully on 24th May 2026 surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care of the staff at Our Lady's Hospice, Harold's Cross. Predeceased by his loving wife Margaret, his parents Michael and Ellen, sister Mary and brother Michael.



Paddy will be sadly missed and always remembered by his children Robert and Fiona, his adored grandson James, brother John, Robert's partner Pamela, his dear friend and companion Eileen, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and all his musical community.

John Hunter McCarthy, (Dublin 8, Dublin 12 and Canada) in the Beacon after a recent illness. 5th May 2026. Predeceased by his parents James and Margaret McCarthy (Canada).



Deeply loved and missed by his daughters Deirdre and Suzie, son in law Patrick, grandchildren Eric, Aoife, Hugh, Kaitlyn, Molly and Paddy. Sister, brother and sister-in-law Jim, Elizabeth and Jean (in Canada). As well as Deirdre and Suzie's mother Patricia, their siblings Claire, Ruth and Oisin and their children to whom he was also grandad John, Saoirse, Sophie, Lily, Michael, Aoibhe, Alanna and new baby Conor, as well as his loving sister-in-law Geraldine.



To his wonderful wide circle of friends, who provided so much support and comfort. Miles, Callie, Pat, Dave (deceased) Jackie, Aidan, Joe, Rita, Vinnie among many others who provided support, love and care over many years.



There are too many thank, but to name just a few, thank you to the staff in the Beacon, in particular Dr Rozana Rahman, Janet McDermott and the staff of ward 6, whose care and kindness was a great comfort, and John Boles of Boles Chemist Dolphins Barn who never failed to help.
