Many thanks to all who attended the Clinical Audit Presentations yesterday. It was great to see so many people in attendance, especially on such a lovey sunny afternoon/evening!

A particular word of thanks to all the NCHD auditors, their supervisors and Clinical Audit Committee for your efforts in completing the really high quality audits on display. Our 1st year Dental Hygiene students from Trinity College Dublin recently visited preschools across inner-city Dublin to deliver fun and interactive talks on healthy habits and oral health in early childhood.

A fantastic opportunity to promote oral health awareness and positive routines to children from an early age. Well done to all.

Some excellent news from Trinity Monday and exciting celebrations for the School of Dental Science.

Huge Congratulations to our newly elected Scholars Sarah O’Connor and Zofia Bielicka on being awarded Foundation Scholarship this morning at Front Square’s announcement by the Provost. It is always an occasion of great anticipation and excitement.

Foundation Scholarship is a College institution with a long and prestigious history. Some of our greatest alumni – such as Edmund Burke, Samuel Beckett, and Mary Robinson – have been elected to Scholarship and it remains a distinctive feature of student life here at Trinity.

The Benefits of Foundation Scholarship
Scholars enjoy significant benefits, including Commons free of charge, rooms free of charge for up to nine months of the year and, where a student is not in receipt of outside scholarships or grants, fee remission for up to five years to the value of the EU fee level.

Also thank you to Prof Jeff O’Sullivan for coordinating the Scholarship examinations process.
