Our free therapist-matching consultation makes the process simpler. Tell us what you would like support with, your availability, and whether you prefer online or in-person therapy. We will recommend suitable therapists from our network based on their experience, approach and availability.
You do not have to search alone.

Nostalgia can make the past feel simpler, happier and more complete than it really was.
Sometimes, you are not actually longing for school, college or your early twenties. You are longing for what that time represented: closeness, possibility, fewer responsibilities or a stronger sense of who you were.
You may not be able to recreate that period of your life, but you can get curious about what the memories are trying to tell you.
Missing the past does not mean your life has gone wrong.

Children do not always have the words to explain what they are feeling. Play therapy gives them a safe, age-appropriate way to express themselves, process difficult experiences and build emotional skills with the support of a trained therapist.

Your first therapy session is not a test, and you do not need to arrive with everything figured out.
It is a chance to talk about what has brought you to therapy, what you would like support with and what you hope to get from the process. It also gives you an opportunity to understand how the therapist works and whether their approach feels right for you.
A good therapeutic relationship matters, and the first session is where that begins.

ADHD is often misunderstood as an inability to focus.
In reality, many people with ADHD can focus intensely when a task is highly interesting, stimulating, urgent, or rewarding.
This does not contradict an ADHD diagnosis. It reflects a difficulty with regulating attention, motivation, and executive functioning.
The question is not simply “can this person focus?”
It is whether they can consistently direct and sustain attention when the task does not naturally activate the brain’s reward and motivation systems.

ADHD is not “I can’t be bothered”.

A lot of the time it’s “I know I need to do this, I want do, I keep thinking about it… and somehow I still can’t start”

That’s not laziness.

That’s executive dysfunction.

And for many people with ADHD, the hardest part is not the task itself.

It’s the shame spiral that comes from being misunderstood.
