Castletownbere August Bank Holiday Diver Weekend 🐬

Our trip to the North Mayo coast last month was a wonderful success, amazing diving within easy reach of Kilcummin Pier and a super group of fun divers.

Everyone was blown away by the quality of the sites and the intensity of marine life so we will definitely be back. Big thank you for the hospitality shown to us by Mick Loftus and the members of Grainne Uaile Sub Aqua Club

On our next dive safari we are heading to Castletownbere for the August Bank Holiday weekend.

Great conditions in Di**le at the moment and we are all set for our annual Di**le Dive Safari!

Dates: Friday PM 29th May - Monday 1st June

Last month we had an exciting week with a German film crew and who are producing a documentary on animal migration.

Di**le is well known for the growing numbers of Basking sharks who migrate past the peninsula from early April and we were part of the team capturing footage of the event along with Professor Taylor Chapple from Oregon State University, one of the world’s top big fish scientists!


We can’t guarantee that you will see sharks here on our Di**le Dive safari… but we can guarantee great diving on some of Irelands top Atlantic reefs!

We now offer Observation Class ROV pilot training courses! 🐬

Our two-day introductory courses can be run for groups or individuals and includes class-based theory, practical workshops and in water ROV flying sessions. You will be able to
- Launch and recover ROVs
- Complete per dive checks and post dive maintenance
- Operate an ROV underwater using two different types of ROV (surface powered and battery).
-Capture and share images and recover objects to the surface.

Castletownbere Mini Dive Weekend 🌊

The Ocean Enterprise RIB is heading back to Castletownbere 4–5 October – for a late-season dive escape!

Last August we uncovered stunning, little-dived sites off Bear Island’s west coast, just a quick boat run from the main slipway. Now we’re returning to explore even more of this hidden Atlantic gem.

🌊 Saturday: 2 dives + air fill – €110

We are running a special Dive Weekend to Castletownbere, Co Cork aimed at experienced divers who would like to explore some of the less well known reefs around the Beara peninsular.

Less visited by tourists that some other parts of the west, it offers some of the best scenery West Cork has to offer.
