Another beautiful Music Remembrance Plaque made for a customer 🤍 Remembering Mick 🤍

Did you know, I make these beautiful music/photo Remembrance Garden & Grave Plaques?

I came up with the idea in 2024 and launched them to my customer's over on the Littlemisswrapper page 🤍

You can get your loved one's photo on it and their favourite song OR a song that reminds you of them. Along with a couple of short words such as
'Mam, loved & missed forever'
'Son, forever in our hearts'.
'Dad, Remembered always'.
Etc...

This plaque was made in memory of a local Lady, Alison. A beautiful soul gone too soon. Alison's favourite song to sing was 'Two out of three aint bad' by Meatloaf 🎵🎵

It's been a while 🤍🥰 This time last year I put up this post and announced that I bought the website name www.restinparadise.ie

What a year.

I had the best intentions....to save people money during the worst times of their lives.

It was the first affordable Death Notice & Remembrance Website announced in Ireland. Something I'm proud of.

The feedback was instantly positive, grateful and encouraging from all of you.

It meant alot.

I put blood, sweat, money & tears into it. Hundreds of hours, too many to count.

Unfortunately, the website company I chose didn't get the website done in the time that I needed it done and this meant that alot of funeral directors and other people who had a similar idea to myself, had their Death Notice Websites set up and running before Rest in Paradise... which meant the buzz was gone and Funeral Directors were now not coming aboard with any websites, they were setting up their own websites.
We needed Funeral Directors onboard to really make it work.

Also, I had to fix alot of problems on the website constantly, which shouldn't have been happening.

It was and has been a huge learning curve. 🤍

I have been making Remembrance Gifts for nearly 8 years now and I love making them. I think that's what drew me to wanting to set up an affordable Remembrance Website.

Although it didn't work out, I am continuing to make my Remembrance Gifts...which I will put up on this page to show you all soon(if you like)?

This is just a message to say thank you for encouraging an idea and suppporting it. I really really appreciated it.

I still own the name and website RestinParadise but the website will no longer be in use.

It's sad to let Rest in Paradise go... but it will be an amazing opportunity for someone else or a team of people. It would also be an amazing entrepreneurial opportunity for a college business student, marketing student etc..
This website can be expanded and pushed out there so much more.

Hi everyone ☺️ it's been a while since I posted on here. I was seeing if restinparadise.ie will take off or not and leaving it to the public to decide. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like it's going to happen 🥹 I was the first person to set up and announce an affordable death and remembrance website in Ireland, hoping to save people money during one of the toughest times of their lives, losing a loved one.

I contacted so many Funeral Homes in Ireland to get onboard with restinparadise but what has happened is:
A lot of these funeral directors have now set up their own websites, which means that when someone goes to them to plan a funeral of a loved one, these funeral directors will recommend their own website, rather than restinparadise or rip.
As you can imagine, that will work out better for them.

Also, some of the funeral homes in Ireland have decided to stay with rip, as some members of the public don't mind paying the €100 per vat per death notice.

Some of these other websites that have been set up by funeral directors have copied some of restinparadises' ideas such as the 'Digital Candle' idea straight from my website. Which means they were watching the progress of my website throughout this time. This is a compliment, as I have put so much into this myself with my own visions and ideas and absolute zero experience or help from anyone and my own savings. My goal was just to save people money during a time of grief.

The experience I do have is that I have been running my own little business making Personalised Gifts and Remembrance Gifts for 8 years, from Rosary Beads, to Slates, Candles, Photo Pin Charms, Remembrance plaques, Christmas Remembrance Baubles etc I love making them 🤍🤍🥰

So I have two options for Rest In Paradise:

1) To Sell it.
If someone is interested in buying it, the website, the name etc. Please PM me. You can make it your own and push it out there more than I can. I will put you in contact with my website designers. It is already known by so many people but it has so much more potential. It just needs someone who has more time than me for marketing.
I also believe the 'uploading' of Remembrance Notices needs to be made a little easier and more straightforward, as some people struggled with how to upload their notices. They really wanted to post on RestinParadise but found the uploading a little complicated.
Although, once you get the hang of it it is pretty straightforward.
A website designer out there might be able to come up with an easier solution.

2) Keep it as a Website for Remembrance Notices only. Such as.... Birthday Notices, Family Notices, Months Mind Mass.
And have no Death Notices on it.

I would love your feedback on all of this 👍

Have you signed up to www.restinparadise.ie yet? It's free to sign up.

All you need to do is go to:
•Login on the website.
•You will see 'Sign Up' under the login notice.
•Sign up as a 'Member' not as a 'Service Directory'.

Once you sign up with your own email and password you can then Login anytime to upload a Birthday Notice, Anniversary Notice, Death Notice, Months Mind Mass etc for only:

€10 plus vat (€12.30) per notice. A huge savings.
