We were delighted to welcome representatives from Éanna Basketball Club, Becca, Gary, and Andrew, to the UPMC Sports Surgery Clinic Swords Outreach Centre.

During their visit, they met with our team, including Dr Aisling Farrell and Dr Owen Gallagher, who lead our Health Screening and Lifestyle Medicine Services in Swords.

It was a pleasure to showcase the services available locally and discuss the important role that preventative healthcare, health screening, and lifestyle medicine can play in supporting long-term health and wellbeing.

It was a fantastic opportunity to engage with the community, share information, and highlight the importance of maintaining health and wellbeing at every stage of life.

Yesterday we celebrated World Heart Day at UPMC Sports Surgery Clinic!

Staff came together for a Spinathon, raising awareness about the importance of heart health while clocking up an incredible 281.2 km on our spin bikes.

To put that achievement into perspective, that's the equivalent of cycling from Dublin to Cork and beyond, almost reaching Killarney!

It was a fantastic event filled with energy, teamwork, and a shared commitment to promoting physical activity and cardiovascular health.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part, cheered on their colleagues, and helped make the day such a success.
