UPMC is proud to announce a partnership with the Royal St George Yacht Club (RSGYC), supporting one of Ireland’s most respected sailing communities and its commitment to health, wellbeing and active lifestyles. Established in 1838, the club has a rich maritime heritage and a long-standing tradition of excellence in sailing, racing and community engagement in Dun Laoghaire.

We are delighted to attend the RSGYC Regatta 2026 on Saturday where our team of Doctors and Physios will be available to meet members, participants and visitors, and share information on UPMC’s comprehensive range of healthcare services.

At UPMC, we recognise the importance of health, wellbeing and performance in helping people stay active and enjoy the sports they love. We look forward to strengthening our partnership with the club and supporting its vibrant sailing community both on and off the water.

Men's Health Week at UPMC Sports Surgery Clinic

Last week, we were delighted to celebrate Men's Health Week, encouraging colleagues to take a proactive approach to their health and wellbeing.

Team members had the opportunity to participate in a range of health assessments, including blood pressure checks, waist circumference measurements and grip strength testing.

A big thank you to everyone who took part and created opportunities to raise awareness, start conversations and support healthier choices.
