It is with a very heavy heart that we announce the closure of Riverbank Sauna here at the Canoe Centre.
When we started this journey, we hoped to create more than just a sauna and café. We wanted to create a place where people could slow down, connect, laugh, relax, and feel welcome. Thanks to all of you, that's exactly what Riverbank Sauna became.
To every customer who visited us over the past 18 months, supported us, recommended us to friends, or simply stopped by for a coffee, a chat, or a sauna session, thank you. You became part of our story, and I will always be grateful for the support, wonderful community, kindness, and friendships that grew from this special place.
To our incredible staff, Anna, Hugh, F. Tom, and Louise, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your hard work, dedication, warmth, and belief in what we were trying to build made Riverbank Sauna what it was. I couldn't be prouder of what we achieved together.
I am truly sorry that I must make this announcement. This is not what we wanted, and making this decision has been one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. While this chapter is coming to an end, we will always be grateful for the memories and connections we shared.
We will honour all gift vouchers and provide membership refunds. Please get in touch with us regarding either of these matters.
The final sessions in our saunas will take place on Monday, 12 October.
Thank you for being part of the Riverbank Sauna journey.
With sincere gratitude,
Shane Cronin & Team Canoe Centre
