*IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT, ACTION NEEDED TO SUPPORT FUEL PROTESTS*

During the Irelands Nation Fuel Protest, the most effective and successful mass act of Irish People Power since the 1913 Lock Out.
Prominent online commentator Michael McCarthy established a GoFundMe in which raised a staggering amount of money, testament to the kind of support the Movement had from you, the Ordinary Salt of the Earth people of Irelands, its heart, soul and backbone.

This money was destined to maintain the sunstitenance of the protests and also to facilitate any future protests which is still highly likely to transpire.

A campaign from Anti-Working Class and Anti-Farmer elements was hatched to launch a vindictive sneaky campaign to freeze these funds and block protesters having access to these funds which they succeeded in doing.
Hampering future efforts that hold the State to task.
The so called Revolutionary Left had eagerly handed the victory to the Government.

TD Ruth Coppinger was the person spearheading this campaign, who used her Dáil privilege to bizarrely portray the Fuel Protests as Rascist and 'Far-Right' which influenced GoFundMe to freeze the funds.

We here at Real Irish News are asking those who contributed to this fund and supported the Fuel protests in good faith to contact Ruth Coppinger, an election public representative, and given she was the leading figure in having these funds frozen, that you demand she IMMEDIATELY unfreeze these funds and rightfully return them to the Farmers, Hauliers, Working Class and Ordinary People of Ireland so they can ulitilize these funds as intended.
And let her know that she cannot stiffle the Right to Protest and Free Speech in Ireland.

What we’ve seen over the last couple of days across Ireland should be a wake-up call to those in power.
Truck drivers, farmers, taxi drivers, and ordinary working people have had enough. The rising cost of fuel is not just about filling a tank anymore it’s driving up the price of everything. Every trip to the shop, every bill, every day-to-day expense is hitting harder because of it.
This is not a small issue. This is people trying to live, trying to work, and trying to provide and being pushed to the edge.
And then to hear the response coming from government, it felt completely out of touch. For many, it came across as dismissive like a slap in the face to people who are already under serious pressure.
Instead of calming the situation, it has only added fuel to the fire. You can see it now roads being blocked, protests growing, frustration boiling over. That doesn’t happen without reason.
This isn’t about politics anymore. It’s about reality. It’s about people who feel they are no longer being heard.
At this stage, serious questions have to be asked about leadership and accountability. When a government loses the trust of the people to this extent, it has to consider its position.
People aren’t looking for excuses they’re looking for leadership, understanding, and real action.
And until that happens, this situation is only going to escalate. The government needs to be stood down for the way it has hangled this crisis ,

Tonight, we stand in remembrance of Oisin, and other children who deserved care and compassion. In a society where children like him fell through the cracks of a failing & non working system at Tusla, we remember not only him but also others like Oisin, who was tragically lost their lives .
Why has this become our new reality?
We have reached out repeatedly to our Ministers for Justice, warning them of the vulnerabilities our children face. We are left feeling lost, scared, and heartbroken.
Enough is enough. We must raise our voices together to ensure every child is cherished and protected. There is no excuse for failure. Shame on Tusla.
Let’s advocate for real change and ensure that no more innocent lives are lost.

The NO to Mercosur National Protest Rally will conclude at the
Athlone International Arena, TUS Midlands (formerly AIT)
following Saturday’s historic national community gathering in Athlone.

🚗 For Those Attending by Car (and Walking with the Protest)
Assembly Point: 11:00am

Athlone International Arena
Technological University of the Shannon – Athlone Main Campus
Dublin Road, Athlone, Co. Westmeath

This is the main assembly point for attendees arriving by car who intend to walk with the protest.

Stewards will direct vehicles to over 2,000 car parking spaces in the vicinity

Feeder buses will operate around the town to bring people to the arena

Please follow steward and Garda instructions at all times

All buses will be directed to drop passengers at or near the Athlone International Arena, where stewards will assist with safe access to the rally area.

Expect delays due to traffic management measures.
