FINDING BALANCE THROUGH THE PELVIS
Pelvic Floor Health | Movement | Breath | Relaxation
Sunday, 17 January 2027 | 11am–5pm
Anam Kara Wellness Centre, Glendalough House Estate
A day to step away from everyday life and reconnect with your body.
Join Keri Gaffney and Sophie Anderton for a nourishing day combining movement, nature, pelvic floor education, breathwork, relaxation and self-care.
PELVIC FLOOR HEALTH
Pelvic floor health isn’t simply about being “strong”.
A healthy pelvic floor needs to contract, relax and move through its full range of motion.
For some women, the issue may be low muscle tone. For others, it may be excessive tension or difficulty fully relaxing.
Together, we’ll explore the relationship between the pelvic floor, breathing, posture, abdominal muscles, hips and whole-body movement.
You’ll learn how to:
• Recognise tension versus weakness
• Develop greater awareness and control
• Explore both activation and relaxation
• Coordinate pelvic floor movement with breathing
• Identify and release unnecessary tension
• Develop simple tools for everyday life
THE DAY
Awaken — Guided winter trail walk
Nourish — Pelvic floor workshop and seasonal lunch
Restore — Breathwork, self-massage and restorative movement
Reset — Relaxation, reflection and reconnection
Optional sauna and cold plunge available.
You don’t need to have a pelvic floor problem to benefit.
A day to understand your body, find your balance and reconnect.
