Galway News! The wonderful Clinical & Health Psychologist Dr Bronagh Fitzpatrick has also joined our growing team providing respectful, best practice neurodiversity affirmative autism assessments for families in the Galway region. We are so thrilled to welcome Bronagh to our team. Bronagh is a Clinical and Health Psychologist with over 15 years’ experience working across the NHS in Scotland and the HSE in Ireland. She brings a warm, compassionate, and collaborative approach to her work, with a strong commitment to ensuring that children, young people, and families feel supported and understood throughout the assessment (identification) process.
Her work is grounded in a neurodiversity-affirmative, strengths-based approach, recognising and valuing each person’s unique profile, experiences, and needs. Bronagh views identification as an opportunity for individuals and families to feel seen, understood, and empowered.

Bronagh also has a particular interest in parenting and family support, including nervous system regulation, emotional development, and relational safety. She is passionate about helping families better understand the emotional and sensory needs that can sit underneath behaviour, while supporting connection, confidence, and emotional wellbeing.

Outside of work, Bronagh is a mum of two and enjoys cake decorating…whenever she gets the chance!

Bronagh holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DPsychSc) from the University of Galway, a Qualification in Health Psychology from the British Psychological Society, an MSc in Health Psychology from the University of St Andrews, and a Higher Diploma in Applied Psychology from University College Cork. She is a Chartered Member of the Psychological Society of Ireland.

Galway news! We are so excited that so many skilled, empathic, neurodiversity affirmative clinicians are joining our expanding team. Sinéad Lowry, Senior Speech & Language Therapist has this month joined our new team in Galway, and we are so lucky to have her! She will be part of our MDT team undertaking autism assessments and will also be providing best practice speech & language therapy and assessments. Because she is new, she currently has no waitlist! Sinéad is a Senior Speech and Language Therapist with extensive experience working with children aged 0–18 with a wide range of communication differences.
She has worked primarily within primary care settings, supporting children with speech sound differences, language differences and early communication needs. Sinéad has experience working with autistic children, children with intellectual disability and complex communication needs, and children who use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). She has extensive experience in supporting both children and adults through the process of identifying autism and ADHD.

Sinéad’s practice is grounded in a neurodiversity-affirmative and strengths-based approach. She works closely with children and their families to identify goals that support communication, participation and growing independence. She is passionate about supporting communication across the settings children are most commonly part of, including home, school and the wider community, and regularly works alongside parents, teachers and other professionals to build shared understanding and put practical, supportive strategies in place.
