I was listening to Bruce Lipton today and then I saw this affirmation- ‚let’s have a week of good thoughts and happy moments’ — and I had a brain wave 😅 I’ll give a little background to clarify how I’m going to put this affirmation into practice and I’d love you to try it too! (It’s all in the slides too!).
So Bruce Lipton’s research, along with decades of work in psychoneuroimmunology, shows something remarkable: our thoughts don’t just affect our mood — they literally shape our biology. Every thought triggers a cascade of neurochemicals that tell our cells how to respond. Our bodies cannot distinguish between a real threat and an imagined one — so every anxious loop we replay is felt as a present-moment danger.
What does that mean for us? It means through the worry spirals, the „what ifs,” the doom-scrolling we do on a daily basis… our nervous system is living through all of it in real time.
But here’s the beautiful flip side — the same mechanism works in reverse. So, consciously cultivating thoughts of joy, love, or gratitude shifts our body out of stress-response mode and into repair, connection, and resilience.
So this week, let’s do this together…. Swipe for 5 simple, science-backed reminders. Save this post and come back to it when you need a nudge.
Let me know how you get on, what shifts you experience! I would love to hear! ❤️🙌🙏
