It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden and tragic passing of Shane Irwin, Bocks Upper, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, who died following an accident in Perth, Australia, on Monday, 5th October 2026.

Predeceased by his beloved sister Katie, who died in infancy, and his grandparents Kathleen and Michael McGuinness, and Bob and Kitty Irwin.

Shane will be forever loved and sadly missed by his heartbroken parents Bob and Helen, his brothers Cathal, Aidan and Keith, his sister Lisa, Cathal’s (Tegan), his aunts, uncles, cousins, extended McGuinness and Irwin families, and his wide circle of friends at home and in Australia.

May his fun-loving spirit rest in peace and may his cheeky smile never be forgotten.

Reposing at his late residence (A81 KR77) on Thursday, 22nd October, and Friday, 23rd October, from 1pm to 8pm each day.

Removal from his residence on Saturday morning to St. Mary’s Church, Lisdoonan (A81 DP44), arriving for Requiem Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in the adjoining new cemetery.

House private at all other times, please.

The Months Mind Mass for the late Oliver (Ollie) Keenan, The Glebe, Inniskeen, Co. Monaghan, will take place on Saturday, 17th October, at 6.00pm in the Church of Mary Mother of Mercy, Inniskeen.

Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sons Eamonn, Patrick (Paddy), Dessie and daughter Catherine, his brother Pat, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephew, sisters-in-law, relatives and his wide circle of friends.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Margaret (Peggy), née Downey. Much-loved father of Paul.

The Months Mind Mass for the late Mary Keenan (née Traynor), of 3 Deerys Terrace, Inniskeen, will take place on Friday, 23rd October, at 8.00pm in Mary Mother of Mercy Church, Inniskeen.

Mary is lovingly remembered and sadly missed every day by her dearly loved husband, Pat; her beloved children, Briege (Jerome), Christina, Patricia (Ciarán) and David; and her cherished grandchildren, Amy, Molly, Darragh, Seán, Paul, Jamie and Kyle.

Mary is also lovingly remembered by her extended family and friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Passed away unexpectedly at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital on Friday, 25th September, 2026.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Larry, her brothers Tom, Benny, Paddy and Basil, and her sisters Phyllis Murphy, Annie Boylan and Detta Lavoie (Boston).

Much-loved mother of Neville, Damien, Fiona and Orlaith.

The death has occurred of Niamh Hutchinson (née Gorman), Tullanacranat, A75 R862, Cullaville, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan,
who passed away peacefully at her home on 4th September 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved daughter of Muriel and Jimmy Gorman, dearly loved wife of Francis and devoted Mam of Emma and Cillian.

Niamh will be very sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sisters, brothers, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and many friends.
