๐ŸŒŸ Could you give 2 hours a week to make a difference? ๐ŸŒŸ

At Turas, our volunteers are a really important part of what we do. They bring their time, experience, encouragement and, often, a little bit of fun to the people we support. ๐Ÿ’›

Weโ€™re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join us and help with:

โ˜• Recovery Cafรฉ
๐ŸŒฑ Allotment
๐Ÿค Support Groups

You donโ€™t need to be an expert or have all the answers. Sometimes, simply being there, listening, having a chat or getting stuck in alongside someone can make a real difference.

Just 2 hours a week can change a life. ๐Ÿ’›

If youโ€™d like to find out more about volunteering with Turas, get in touch:

๐Ÿ’œ Recovery Month 2026 ๐Ÿ’œ

This Recovery Month, our office on Clanbrassil Street is lit up in purple, the colour that represents hope, recovery, resilience, and the possibility of change.

As we celebrate the journeys of those in recovery and recognise the strength it takes to overcome challenges, we also take time to remember those we have lost. Today, we light a candle in memory of the clients, friends, and family members who are no longer with us.

Every person leaves behind a story, relationships, and an impact on the lives of others. They are not forgotten.

At Turas, we remain committed to supporting people on their recovery journey, while honouring the memories of those who are no longer here to walk alongside us.

๐Ÿ’œ Remembering. Reflecting. Recovering. ๐Ÿ’œ

It was fantastic to come together with other Dundalk services offering support to people with addiction and their family members this morning.

We heard some incredible stories of challenging circumstances overcome by resilience and hope. It was a powerful message to anyone in addiction that with the right support recovery is not only possible but transformative.

Turas offers help to anyone in Dundalk and surrounds with drug, alcohol and gambling addiction.
