✨ What happens during a skin check? ✨

If you’ve been putting off booking one because you’re unsure what to expect, you’re not alone. 💛

A skin check is simple, thorough, and designed to give you peace of mind. During your appointment, Dr Sylvia will carefully examine your skin from head to toe, looking at any moles, freckles, or spots that may need a closer look.

Using a dermatoscope (a specialised handheld magnifying device), Dr Sylvia will assess your moles in greater detail. Where clinically necessary, photographs may also be taken to help monitor specific moles over time and accurately document any changes.

If you have any areas you’re concerned about, Dr Sylvia will take the time to discuss them with you and answer any questions you may have.

There’s no need to feel nervous—Dr Sylvia’s goal is to make the experience as comfortable and reassuring as possible. Early detection is one of the best ways to protect your skin health, and a quick check today could make all the difference tomorrow.
