Something we have been working toward for a long time.

Up to now, if you needed a Sports Medicine opinion, we would refer you to a service like Santry. Great service. But there can be a wait. That wait matters when you are in pain or trying to get back to sport.

That changes on the 7th of May.

We are launching a Sports Medicine Consultant, Ultrasound Clinic at Compass. Right here. In your community.

Our consultant is Dr. Haytham Salem. He has worked at the highest level of sport as Lead Sports Medicine Doctor with both Everton FC and Burnley FC. Clinically excellent and an outstanding communicator. We are delighted to have him as part of the team.

And this service is not just for sports people.

Knee pain. Shoulder pain. Hip and ankle issues. Frozen shoulder. Chronic tendon problems.

If you have something ongoing and want a fast, expert opinion with on the spot ultrasound and a clear plan, this is for you.

One of the things I learned early on in my physio career and clinic owner career: I can only do so much.

I can only see 15-20 people a day, and there will still be more people who need help. πŸ’­

There was a shift that happened during COVID where I realised there are people who are as good, if not better than me. Or I can bring people into my world, educate them, upskill them, and help them reach their potential to be great therapists. πŸŽ“

And that's one of our ethos now at Compass & Trim Physio.
