Spent the weekend at the UK Conference of Chinese Medicine in Milton Keynes attending excellent lectures and presentations on TCM, attending meetings in my role as Chairperson of the Acupuncture Council of Ireland, and meeting many friends and colleagues I have in the industry. Back to work today!

Turnpike Clinic is once again proud and greatfull to be helping to sponsor a 4x4 for Ukraine that will shortly be beginning its 3000km journey full of generators, medical aid and pet food for abandoned animals and rescue dogs in a convoy jeeps, ambulaces and specialist vehicles! Much of this has been made possible by the support of our patients and friends of the clinic who have come forward to help support us in acquiring and delivering life saving aid to a country in its 4th year of war. Thank you so much 🙏

We are closed today as Keir is attending the European Traditional Chinese Medicine Association General Assembly in Warsaw in his capacity of Chairperson of the Acupuncture Council of Ireland. Back to work on Monday!

Thanks to the Clare Champion who paid a visit to the clinic this week to do a lovely feature. Mother Mary "Needles!" slipped quietly into retirement during Covid restrictions without getting a proper chance to say goodbye to the patients and families she had built up such a long relationship with. This article was a great look back on the hard work she put into building up the clinic and an acknowledgement of the rapport she and her assistant Irene Moloney (nee Coffee) RIP, had with everyone who visited over the years, while exploring the possibility of a 3rd generation of McNamara's working in Turnpike Clinic!
