We live in a world where we’re constantly told that everything is unhealthy.
Polluted air, soil, and food. On top of that - screens, stress, rushing around, and negative news every single day.
And honestly… unfortunately, that’s the reality today. It’s hard to find anything that’s 100% “healthy” anymore.
But that doesn’t mean we can’t be healthy ourselves 😉
It’s worth realizing that blaming everything on “modern times” is often just the easiest excuse to stay stuck in habits that don’t serve us - instead of gradually choosing a better version of ourselves.
Our bodies are designed to handle a lot - we just need to support them properly.
And this isn’t about living a perfect life. It’s about consciously choosing things that work in your favor on a daily basis 🙂
That’s why I put together a few simple basics we often forget about…
🌿 DON’T JUST EAT - NOURISH YOUR BODY
Focus on enough protein and healthy fats. Make your diet nutritious, natural, satisfying, and TASTY - because when food actually tastes good, it’s much easier to stay consistent and avoid junk food cravings.
Choose better-quality products whenever you can. Not everything has to be “organic,” but it’s worth paying attention to the foods you eat most often.
🌿 DON’T DO WHAT EVERYONE ELSE IS DOING - DO WHAT YOUR BODY NEEDS
Supplements, herbs, and certain treatments can be powerful, but choose them wisely and according to your own needs.
Make sure to monitor your vitamin D levels and adjust your dosage properly. And if you supplement vitamin D, don’t forget about K2 😉
🌿 GET REGULAR CHECKUPS
Even if you feel fine, it’s still worth doing basic bloodwork at least once a year.
🌿 TAKE CARE OF YOUR GUT
“All disease begins in the gut” - remember that?
Support your gut health through diet, lifestyle, and a healthy microbiome.
And remember — bloating, stomach pain, or digestive issues are not just “normal.” Your body is often trying to tell you something.
🌿 LIMIT SUGAR AND ARTIFICIAL SWEETENERS
I probably don’t need to explain sugar anymore, but… don’t believe people who say Diet Coke is “healthy.”
At the end of the day, cola is still cola.
And yes, if you drink it occasionally, the world won’t end - but replacing sugar with aspartame doesn’t automatically make it a better choice. Especially considering how controversial aspartame still is…
🌿 STAY CLOSE TO NATURE
Sunlight, fresh air, and spending time in nature help regulate your nervous system and hormones.
It’s one of the most underrated free therapies for your body.
🌿 MOVE YOUR BODY
The gym and workouts are great, but don’t underestimate a simple walk outside either. Both matter.
🌿 TAKE CARE OF YOUR NERVOUS SYSTEM AND SLEEP
Make time to slow down, process emotions, and improve your sleep quality.
Reduce blue light exposure at least an hour before bed or use blue light filters.
🌿 EDUCATE YOURSELF AND LEARN TO LISTEN TO YOUR BODY
Don’t leave your health entirely in someone else’s hands.
Learn to understand your own body and recognize the signals it gives you.
Read, listen, and keep learning so you can make conscious decisions.
🌿 KEEP BALANCE AND COMMON SENSE 🙂
Want to have pizza, ice cream, or spend a whole day on the couch watching TV sometimes?
That’s okay - we’re all human. Just don’t let that become your everyday lifestyle.
A healthy lifestyle isn’t obsession or perfection…
It’s choosing what serves you as your normal - and treating what doesn’t serve you as the exception, not the rule 😉
That’s the short version but a solid base to better and healthier life🙂
Sending love 💚
