Acknowledgement and Month’s Mind Mass
We, the family of the late Eddie O’Connor, a much loved husband, Father, Grandad, brother, uncle and friend, wish to express our heartfelt and sincere thanks to all who sympathised with and supported us during our recent sad loss.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who attended the wake and funeral, both in person and online; to our family, friends, and neighbours; and to all who helped in any way before, during, and after the wake and funeral. Thank you to all who sent Mass cards, letters, and messages—your kindness is greatly appreciated.
We thank the staff of Letterkenny hospital and the Palliative Care team and carers for the compassion and care shown to Eddie during his illness.
Our sincere thanks to Fr. Sean Gallagher for celebrating the beautiful Funeral Mass, for leading the Rosary each evening, and for his support. Thanks also to Fr Boyce, Fr Doohan and Fr Brian for their support and spiritual guidance.
Our heartfelt appreciation goes to the Falcarragh choir for the beautiful music at the funeral.
Special thanks to John Sweeney and Seamus Gallagher of Sweeney’s Funeral Directors for the caring, professional, and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements. Thanks as well to the staff of Ostán Loch Altan for organising the refreshments after the funeral, and to all those who formed a guard of honour.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this as a token of our deepest appreciation.
Eddie’s Month’s Mind Mass will be held in St. Fionan's church Falcarragh on Saturday 24th at 7pm
