Acknowledgement and Month’s Mind Mass

We, the family of the late Rosaleen Smyth, wish to express our heartfelt and sincere thanks to all who sympathised with and supported us during our recent sad loss.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who attended the wake and funeral, both in person and online; to our family, friends, and neighbours; and to all who helped in any way before, during, and after the wake and funeral. Thank you to all who sent Mass cards, letters, and messages—your kindness is greatly appreciated. We also wish to thank the first responders and the ambulance service for their care.

Our sincere thanks to Fr. Boyce for celebrating the beautiful Funeral Mass, for leading the Rosary each evening, and for his support. Thank you also to Fr. Sean and Fr. Donnachadh for concelebrating the Funeral Mass. We are grateful to Bridget for the beautiful singing and music.

Special thanks to John Sweeney and Seamus Gallagher of Sweeney’s Funeral Directors for the caring, professional, and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements. Thanks as well to the staff of Ionad Naomh Fionáin for organising the refreshments after the funeral, and to all those who formed a guard of honour.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this as a token of our deepest appreciation.
