This is me, I'm Lucy Townsley, Mum of Hannah James and Amber, partner to PJ, horse lover, animal lover.
The other me helps you with pain, both physical, emotional, and mental. I do absolutely love my job and the results I get.
People generally don't comment on my posts; I feel it's too close to how they feel, and they don't want anyone else to know or find out.
That's the best thing about social media: you can PM me.
Today's post is about NECK PAIN - Have a read and comment if you want, PM if you prefer privacy😁
Do you notice your neck pain most when you’re driving, working at a screen, or trying to sleep?
Neck pain is one of those things people often put up with for too long.
You might notice it when you turn your head to check your blind spot.
Or when you look down at your phone.
Or when you try to put your head back and it feels stiff, painful, or uncomfortable.
Some people also feel tension in their shoulders, headaches, pressure at the base of the skull, or even dizziness when moving the head.
It is not always “just a stiff neck.”
When the neck becomes tight or guarded, the whole body can start to compensate. You may lift your shoulders, clench your jaw, sleep poorly, or feel more tense throughout the day.
At Galway Acupuncture Hub in Loughrea, I support people with neck pain, shoulder tension, headaches, stiffness, and stress-related tightness using acupuncture and supportive hands-on treatment.
I have written a new blog post about why neck pain should not be ignored and how acupuncture can help support better movement, comfort, and tension relief. The Link is in the comments
