Welcome to the team Maeve! 🙌🏽🥳

Maeve is a CORU-registered Chartered Physiotherapist specialising in musculoskeletal and sports injury rehabilitation. She holds a first class honours Bachelor’s degree in Health and Performance Science from University College Dublin and a first class honours Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from University College Cork. She is also a member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (MISCP).

Since graduating, Maeve has gained extensive experience working with a wide range of orthopaedic and musculoskeletal conditions. She started her career in UPMC Sports Surgery Clinic in Santry, where she treated a diverse range of injuries and worked directly for leading orthopaedic surgeons specialising in knee and shoulder injuries as an clinical orthopaedic physiotherapist. In this role, she guided patients through every stage of recovery—from pre-operative preparation to return-to-performance rehabilitation.

Maeve has a strong background in sport, with particular expertise in sports injury management and prevention. She is currently Lead Physiotherapist with Galwegians RFC Men’s First Team and supports the Connacht Rugby age grade squads. Her experience spans both pitch-side and clinical settings, working with elite and amateur athletes including Connacht Rugby provisional talent squads, Mayo GAA academy squads, USA GAA national team, and numerous club rugby and GAA teams.

Her clinical approach is centred on a combination of education, evidence-based exercise therapy, and hands-on treatment. Maeve is passionate about delivering a holistic rehabilitation experience that empowers clients to understand their injuries, take control of their recovery, and return to their highest level of function and performance.
