Last night I got to experience a total eclipse! It was the most incredible thing I have ever seen. We just happened to be on holidays in France this week and we decided to drive across the border to northern Spain where there was an area of totality. We drove to a random industrial town that had zero character and up to the top of a random hill ( somewhere I will never be again I am sure ) and let the magic unfold.

Once the moon completely covered the sun , the whole place went dark and we took off our glasses and the view was so spectacular I can’t put it into words. It lasted one minute and then the sun started to peep out ( see the video ) obviously my old iPhone does not do this justice but I’m glad I was lucky enough to experience the total eclipse and I really hope to see one again in lifetime. Then as the sun started to come back out , everything brightened up but by this stage it was sunset, so what we were seeing was a bright orange sky, with a partial eclipse going down behind a mountain. Could you even imagine up the magic of that?

Go tobann, ( every good story should have that phrase in it πŸ€ͺ ) on the drive home, I saw a shooting star! It felt like the universe had lined up a very special night for me, maybe it was telling me something πŸ˜‰ ✨
