To support the regeneration of hooves, trotters and skin for up to 8 weeks:

Incorrect saddle fit

Something i come across in my work is fascia restrictions due to incorrectly fitting saddles.

What is Fascia?

Fascia is a connective tissue that wraps around the muscles organs and nerves throughout the body.

What is fascia restrictions?
Fascia restrictions is where the connective tissue that wraps around the muscle becomes restricted.
It becomes thick and tight which then reduces mobility and causes pain.

When there has been a badly fitted saddle We often see changed movement and posture to avoid pain.
This then leads to chronic musculoskeletal pain, it can lead to behavioral issues and loss of performance.

Saddle checks need to be done regularly.

Horses change each season which can lead to adjustments in the saddle fit.

Just remember, even when you do get your horse correctly fitted these restrictions don't disappear.

Body work needs to be done to remove the restrictions.

When hard work pays off 🙌
If you told me 2 years ago this mare would run again, I would have said i doubt it.
With pure determination, hard work, patience, and knowledge, she got back on the track.
She ran a blinder on her return.
Massage therapy, photo light therapy, kinesiology taping, and all controlled exercise and lots of stress 🤣

The benefits of body work really do pay off.
If you want to best performance from your horse then give them the best care possible. They are athletes and massage therapy should be part of their care as you do with farriers, dentists, vets etc.

Remember its not a special treat for them it's a necessity.
