"How do we separate in a way that causes the least harm to ourselves and our family?"
For many couples, this is one of the most difficult questions they will ever face.
Separation can bring feelings of grief, uncertainty, anger, and fear. Decisions about children, finances, living arrangements, and the future can quickly become overwhelming, particularly when emotions are running high.
Mediation offers separating couples a respectful, structured, and confidential space to have these important conversations.
Unlike court proceedings, mediation enables both parties to remain actively involved in shaping the decisions that affect their lives and their family. Rather than having outcomes imposed upon them, couples are supported to reach agreements that work for their unique circumstances, often reducing stress, conflict, and financial cost.
Linda Allen is a qualified mediator, counsellor, therapist, and author with over 30 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through life's challenges and transitions. Drawing on her extensive counselling experience, Linda creates a compassionate, balanced, and supportive environment where each person feels heard, respected, and empowered to move forward positively.
Linda's mediation practice typically takes place over 3 to 6 sessions, providing couples with the time and space needed to work through issues at their own pace. Fees are fully transparent, with payment made on a session-by-session basis, together with a single administration fee at the conclusion of the process.
If you are navigating separation and would like to explore mediation as an option, Linda would be happy to have an initial conversation.
