Keelan Carberry Counselling & Psychotherapy Services I am a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist, accredited with IACP I believe that providing this safe space can allow both the mind and body to heal.

I believe that each therapy encounter is unique to the individual, so my approach taken is tailored to each client. With particular emphasis on the client/therapist relationship, I believe that congruence and empathy are key to developing a safe space to explore and work through issues. I work with clients to facilitate greater understanding and develop internal resources and coping strategies. I

have experience working in areas such as grief, family system issues, trauma, transitions, anxiety, LGBTQ+, stress, depression, identity crises, self-esteem issues, negative self beliefs, childhood issues, sexual assault and r**e. I am passionate about the ther**eutic work believing in the healing that can take place in the safety of the therapy room.

With word circulating among National Fuel Protesters that one of our own has prematurely gone to a more understanding place there is a need to share this wee image.

While there is a dark cloud hovering over our beautiful land at this moment in time, there is also an ambience of hope that there is light at the end of the tunnel also to be found.

At various protests over the past week grown men were reduced to tears over their genuine fears for what the future holds. In my opinion such an expression of raw emotion comes from a place of solid strength and never weakness.

If you aren't feeling yourself lately you really aren't alone, hundreds of thousands of your fellow Irish men and women feel similar. Taking a depression is only a natural reaction considering the current state of affairs of our island. It's a sign that too many of our Compatriots have been suffering and their cries to be treated with dignity by the Government have been ignored. But never for one second lose hope!

Reach out to your friends and family, your GP, these fine organisations listed below, or even fire an oul message into the page if you want a chat with someone

Lads, we're all going to come out of this dark era better and stronger for it. Things seemed dark in the days following the end of the 1916 Rising, but we all know what went down in Dublin that faithful week was only the start.

Please don't forget, we're Irish, we rally around one another during times of crisis and help each other carry one another cross, don't ever feel shame for reaching out, we are an understanding people ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช
