We are working on a collaboration with Ladysbridge/Ballymacoda Historical Society to organise a display of old photos and memories of The Old School Ladysbridge, later this year.
If anyone has any photos we could use for this project, please contact:
Stella 087 182 1158 or scan and send to [email protected]
We do not need your original photos to display, just a copy, we can organise getting them scanned.
Also any memories you have of the Old School as a pupil or at classes later on, are very welcome.

Join us at Ladysbridge Book Club, 7.00pm Monday 10th August for our annual Bring and Share Picnic, at The Jungle Ladysbridge please bring a chair.
We will be discussing There are Rivers in the Sky by Elif Shafk.
Jungle is situated next to the cemetery parking area on Ballymacoda Road next to the River, very relevant for this book discussion.

Our Book Club meetings in August are both outside bring and share picnics, we enjoyed so much last year, it's now an annual event.
Ballymacoda Book Club will be meeting at The Ball Alley Ballymacoda 7.00pm, Thursday 6th August, we will be discussing Yesteryear by Caro Claire.
Ladysbridge Book Club will be meeting at The Jungle Ladysbridge 7.00pm, Monday 10th August, we will be discussing There are Rivers in the Sky by Elif Shafk.
Please bring a chair.
Both meetings are weather permitting, if rain meetings will go ahead in their usual venues.

The finished results of our Pottery Workshop with Ceramic Artist Judy Fisher.
They all look fabulous.
Judy will be runing another Pottery Workshop for us before Christmas, more information on date and time to follow, we will up date you here.
Thank you to Judy for running the Workshop and letting us have the use of her kitchen.
We all very much enjoyed it.

Delighted to announce our Children's Art Competition to design the Logo for our Community Sensory Garden.
Competition is open to anyone aged upto and including 15 years old.
Design must not be computer generated.
Judging will be by a person outside the group and will be announce at a later date.
Prize of an Art Set to be won.
To enter please email photo or scan pic to [email protected]
Include first name and age of child.
Wining Logo will be used on a sign at the Community Garden and on all posters and publicity for Community Garden.

Some lovely new additions to our Community Sensory Garden, the beautiful rope circle in the Fairy Garden and another wonderful Shell Windchime, thank you so much to the talented person who left these.
We have a lovely orange flower, I don't know what it is, I will have to check with our Garden Group, the bee's were busy this morning.
The garden is located at The Picnic Area on Garryvoe Road, a lovely place for a picnic.
