I'm officially a qualified Aromatherapist! 🌻🌿

This course has taken months of studying, assignments, blending oils, learning about the body and discovering just how incredible essential oils really are.

I've loved every minute of it. A huge thank you to Green Tara College and especially my amazing tutor Eileen Smyth who's passion and love for essential oils is just infectious..You made every class so interesting. Thank you for sharing all the stories and knowledge that you have to help us be the very best Aromatherapists.

The best part is that this isn't just another certificate on the wall. It means I can now make your reflexology treatments even more personalised.

Following your consultation, I'll be able to carefully choose essential oils that complement your treatment and support exactly what your body needs on the day.

Whether you're feeling stressed, anxious, exhausted, suffering with pain, struggling with sleep, dealing with hormonal changes or simply feeling overwhelmed, your blend will be chosen with you in mind.

Combining reflexology with aromatherapy allows me to support both your physical and emotional wellbeing in an even deeper way.

This is another step in my mission to help women slow down, regulate their nervous system and leave feeling calmer, lighter and more like themselves.

With love,
Joanne 💗🌻

I promise I'm not trying to be bossy... but these are the things I find myself saying over and over again. 🤍

They're all small changes, but they can make such a difference to how you feel during your treatment and even afterwards.

Sometimes it's the simple things that help your nervous system switch off and allow your body to truly relax.

With love,
Joanne ❤️

I don't know about you, but I definitely believed every one of these at some point.

I thought being busy meant I was doing well.

I thought putting myself last was just part of being a mum.

I thought feeling exhausted all the time was normal.

Now I know that none of those things are actually helping me or the people around me.

The more I look after myself, the better I cope with life. I'm calmer, more patient, and I have so much more to give.

What's something you used to believe that you've completely changed your mind about?

Or which slide made you think, "Yep... that was me."

Let me know in the comments. I have a feeling lots of us have been carrying the same beliefs for years 💗

Reflexology and ear seeding can be a wonderful support for someone struggling with depression.

By helping to calm the nervous system, reduce stress, improve sleep, and encourage relaxation, many people begin to feel small but important shifts in how they cope and function day to day.

What I often see is that once someone starts to feel a little lift after their first few treatments, they're more motivated to do the other things that support their wellbeing too. Things like going for a walk, eating nourishing foods, meeting a friend for coffee, getting outside, and reconnecting with life again.

It's important to remember that reflexology is not a replacement for medical care. If you need medication or support from your doctor, that's absolutely okay.

Reflexology works beautifully alongside conventional treatment and can be part of a wider approach to helping you feel better.

Sending love and hugs to anyone that just isn't feeling like themselves right now..please know you won't always feel this way.

Joanne ❤️

Waking between 2am and 4am and can't get back to sleep?

High cortisol levels are often a factor, especially if you've been feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or constantly switched on.

In this reel I'm sharing a few reflexology points you can work before bed to help calm your nervous system, lower stress levels, and encourage a deeper, more restful sleep.

Save this for tonight and let me know if you give it a try ❤️😴

A little reflexology fun fact for you... please don't ever apologise for hairy legs at your appointment! 😆

A few years ago I had the pleasure of doing an add on course called Mindful Reflexology ( for Stress, Anxiety & Depression) course with the amazing Sally Earlam and I learned that hairs on your skin, even if it's just a bit if stubble, help stimulate special nerve fibres called C-tactile fibres, which respond to extremely slow, gentle, soothing touch.

When my hands glide SUPER slowly up your (hopefully hairy😉) legs at the start of your treatment stimulating the fibres, this promotes the release of oxytocin, helping you feel calm, safe and relaxed.

So next time you're due in for reflexology, leave the razor where it is. Your nervous system will thank you for it! ❤️
