💕 I am beyond excited about this 💕

Next week, I have the privilege of collaborating with the wonderful Katie Coyle from Caring Capall to facilitate the first of its kind Therapeutic Play and Equine Therapy Programme which has been carefully designed especially for siblings of children with additional and medical needs.

For the past number of months, we have been working away behind the scenes to create our 3 day therapeutic programme that brings together the healing power of therapeutic play and equine therapy experiences. Our hope is to offer siblings a space where they can simply be themselves, feel deeply seen, build friendships, discover their own strengths and know that they matter too.

The response to this has been incredible and our first camp is fully booked, with a cancellation list already in place, which only highlights how needed this type of support is for sibling carers.

I feel incredibly privileged to work alongside Katie to bring this vision to life, and I honestly cannot wait to meet our first group of children on Monday!

Our 3-day National Lottery subsidised Sibling Camp offers a safe, fun and supportive space where siblings can simply be themselves, connect with others who truly understand, and enjoy time learning through horses and therapeutic play.
I'm delighted to be partnering with Carol Beatty, Play Therapist, to deliver this unique programme, combining Equine Assisted Services with therapeutic play to help children: 💚 Build confidence and self-esteem
💚 Express their feelings in a safe environment
💚 Make new friends who "get it"
💚 Connect with horses through meaningful activities

📍 Caring Capall, Falcarragh
⏰ 3 hours each day
Thanks to National Lottery funding, the camp is subsidised, with only a nominal fee to attend.

🤍 After a meaningful break, I'm considering coming back... 🤍

As many of you know, life has been pretty full lately. We are currently navigating rebuilding after DCB and preparing to relocate.

While Play Therapy sessions will remain paused for now, I am exploring the possibility of returning this Autumn with something a little different...

I am considering offering Therapeutic & Attachment Play Block Sessions for:
* Adults
* Children
* Siblings
* Parent/Guardian & Child

These could be available as individual or small group sessions, designed to support connection, emotional well-being, regulation, and healing through the power of play.

At this stage, I am simply gauging interest. If this is something that you, your family, or someone you know would be interested in, I would love to hear from you.

Please note that my Play Therapy office is temporarily closed.

Like many families across the county and the wider country, we have unfortunately been affected by defective blocks in our home. As a result, we are currently preparing to pack up our home in advance of its demolition and subsequent rebuild. In addition, we are awaiting a date for scoliosis surgery for our daughter.
Given these significant family circumstances, I have made the decision to temporarily pause my clinics in order to focus on supporting my family during this time.
When the timing is right, my book will reopen.

Tonight, I am feeling so grateful to all the families who have and continue to entrust their precious children to my care. I feel truly blessed to have the opportunity to open my heart and my playroom to support so many children and families across the county..

I am currently working from a waiting list at my Letterkenny play therapy clinic, and excited to announce that a new clinic will be opening soon in Falcarragh where I will be offering:

* Play & Creative Arts Therapy
* Baby & toddler bonding & parent-child attachment support
* Support for parents of neurotypical & neurodiverse children
* Social groups for children
* Sessions for educators & professionals on behavioural, emotional, and therapeutic play strategies

When contacting me to place your child’s name on the waiting list via private message, text, or phone call, please include: your child’s name, a brief description, a phone number, and an email address. I will contact you when a space becomes available.

Important: Consultations are only offered after a completed referral form has been submitted. Due to my schedule, I am unable to offer casual or out-of-hours consultations.
