This Dementia Awareness training is intended for anyone who works with or is around people that may be living with dementia.

It is designed to support caregivers and address ethical issues regarding Dementia. It will give participants an overview of the common types and symptoms of dementia as well as going into how it can affect the brain in different ways. The Dementia Awareness course also introduces strategies to use on clients with dementia and dealing with challenging behaviour.

On completion of this course participants will be able to:
