We are delighted to share highlights from the ribbon-cutting ceremony at the new Alliance Medical Diagnostic Imaging Centre in Tralee last Friday, followed by its official opening on Monday 27th July.

This state-of-the-art facility represents a significant investment in healthcare for the people of Kerry and the wider South-West region. By bringing advanced diagnostic imaging services closer to home, the centre will improve access to timely scans, reduce the need for travel and support earlier diagnosis and treatment for patients.

The opening of the new centre is especially meaningful as we celebrate over 20 years of delivering diagnostic imaging services in Kerry. This achievement reflects our longstanding commitment to supporting patients, healthcare providers and communities across the county.

More than just a new facility, the centre marks the next chapter in enhancing healthcare infrastructure and expanding access to high-quality diagnostic services for the region.

We are proud to celebrate both this new beginning and two decades of service in Kerry and we look forward to continuing to make a positive difference for patients and communities for years to come.

For more than 20 years, Alliance Medical has been part of the diagnostic imaging journey across Kerry. Today, weโ€™re excited to begin our next chapter in a new purpose-built centre in Tralee.

From 27th July, our Tralee centre will offer:

Every scan is reported by local, Ireland-based, RCSI-accredited Consultant Radiologists, providing expert reporting for patients and referring healthcare professionals.

We were delighted to welcome Norma Foley TD, Minister for Children, Disability and Equality to Alliance Medical Tralee last week for the official ribbon-cutting ceremony of our new, advanced diagnostic imaging centre.

Today, Monday 27th July, we are proud to officially open our doors and begin delivering vital diagnostic services to the people of Kerry and the wider region.

Conveniently located in Manor West, our state-of-the-art facility offers MRI, CT, X-ray, DEXA and Ultrasound services.

This new centre represents a significant investment in local healthcare, improving access to high-quality diagnostic imaging closer to home and supporting faster, more convenient care for patients across Kerry and beyond.
