In Ireland, we have 36 clinical locations nationwide, including Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Galway and Belfast. We provide a safe, local service. We invest heavily in cutting edge technology and staff to ensure we recruit, train and retain a clinically excellent team. Our CORU registered Radiographers are among the best specialists in Europe. Our Radiologists are accredited by the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. We are accredited by CHKS. Certified by ISO 9001. We are regulated by HIQA, EPA and the Health and Safety Authority in the Republic of Ireland. In Northern Ireland, we are regulated by RQIA.

Almost two weeks on from the official opening of Alliance Medical Tralee, and we’re still reflecting on what a fantastic day it was for healthcare in Kerry.

It was an honour to welcome Minister Norma Foley to officially open the facility, alongside a number of distinguished guests, healthcare partners, colleagues, and members of the local community.

Their support and presence helped make the occasion truly memorable. The opening marks an important milestone in expanding access to high-quality diagnostic imaging services in the region, helping to bring advanced healthcare closer to patients across Kerry and the surrounding counties.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, supported, and contributed to making the launch such a success. We are excited to continue serving the community and supporting better patient outcomes for years to come.

We are delighted to share highlights from the ribbon-cutting ceremony at the new Alliance Medical Diagnostic Imaging Centre in Tralee last Friday, followed by its official opening on Monday 27th July.

This state-of-the-art facility represents a significant investment in healthcare for the people of Kerry and the wider South-West region. By bringing advanced diagnostic imaging services closer to home, the centre will improve access to timely scans, reduce the need for travel and support earlier diagnosis and treatment for patients.

The opening of the new centre is especially meaningful as we celebrate over 20 years of delivering diagnostic imaging services in Kerry. This achievement reflects our longstanding commitment to supporting patients, healthcare providers and communities across the county.

More than just a new facility, the centre marks the next chapter in enhancing healthcare infrastructure and expanding access to high-quality diagnostic services for the region.

We are proud to celebrate both this new beginning and two decades of service in Kerry and we look forward to continuing to make a positive difference for patients and communities for years to come.

For more than 20 years, Alliance Medical has been part of the diagnostic imaging journey across Kerry. Today, we’re excited to begin our next chapter in a new purpose-built centre in Tralee.

From 27th July, our Tralee centre will offer:

✔️ X-ray
✔️ Ultrasound
✔️ DEXA

Access to timely diagnostic imaging plays an important role in patient care. Receiving the right scan at the right time helps clinicians make informed decisions, reduces unnecessary delays and, where needed, allows treatment to begin sooner.

Every scan is reported by local, Ireland-based, RCSI-accredited Consultant Radiologists, providing expert reporting for patients and referring healthcare professionals.

We’re delighted to continue caring for patients across Kerry from our new home in Tralee.

We were delighted to welcome Norma Foley TD, Minister for Children, Disability and Equality to Alliance Medical Tralee last week for the official ribbon-cutting ceremony of our new, advanced diagnostic imaging centre.

Today, Monday 27th July, we are proud to officially open our doors and begin delivering vital diagnostic services to the people of Kerry and the wider region.

Conveniently located in Manor West, our state-of-the-art facility offers MRI, CT, X-ray, DEXA and Ultrasound services.
