💛Hundreds of people will line the streets of local towns, to raise funds for a su***de and self-harm prevention charity.
💜Five official Darkness Into Light walks will place in the Shannonside region in the early hours of tomorrow morning.
💛Hundreds of people will line the streets of local towns, to raise funds for a su***de and self-harm prevention charity.
💜In 2009, in the Phoenix Park in Dublin, 400 people set off for the first Darkness Into Light walk, to raise funds for Pieta.
💛From small beginnings, the movement has continued to grow - there are now over 800,000 participants every year.
💜The event has raised over 40 million euro.
💛There are over 150 official walks across Ireland this year, starting at 4.15 tomorrow morning.
💜There are four in Co Roscommon - in Boyle, Castlerea, Roscommon town and Strokestown - and one in Longford town.
💛There's no official walk in Co Leitrim.
💜If you're from just outside the Shannonside region, there are events in Ballinasloe and Glenamaddy.
