🌳🏛️ Our residents recently enjoyed a wonderful outing to Doneraile Court and Estate, one of Ireland’s finest historic estates.

Nestled within 160 hectares of beautifully landscaped parkland, Doneraile Court was originally built by the St Leger family around 1645 and later became an outstanding example of Georgian architecture. The estate was home to thirteen generations of the St Leger family over three centuries and has many fascinating connections to Irish history, literature and society. 📖✨

Residents enjoyed exploring the stunning grounds, taking in the peaceful surroundings and learning about the rich heritage of this remarkable estate. 🌿🚶‍♀️ The visit provided a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the fresh air, admire the beautiful parklands and spend quality time together. ☀️

Seeing colleagues come together to support, encourage and celebrate one another was a beautiful reminder of the strong culture we have built at Bridhaven. ✨ Bridhaven marked Carers Week with a very special visit from the ice cream and treat van 🍦🎉

It was a lovely day filled with smiles, sweet treats, and well-deserved moments of appreciation for our wonderful staff and carers, who give so much of themselves every single day 👏 Our residents also enjoyed joining in the fun, making it a truly special occasion for everyone at Bridhaven 🌟🍰

A heartfelt thank you to all of our dedicated team for the kindness, compassion, and care you show each day. Your work makes such a meaningful difference to the lives of our residents and their families 💛

Bridhaven was delighted to support the Alzheimer’s Tea Day hosted by Mallow Garda Station in aid of The Alzheimer Society of Ireland ☕🍰💛

Our ADON Amy and Nurse Hannah from our dementia specific care team were delighted to attend this lovely community gathering, following a kind invitation from Community Garda John.

It was a wonderful opportunity to come together with members of the local community, enjoy a cup of tea and a chat, and show support for people living with dementia, their families, and those who care for them every day.

Events like this are so important in raising awareness, encouraging connection, and supporting vital dementia services across Ireland. At Bridhaven, dementia care is very close to our hearts, and we were proud to be part of such a meaningful local initiative.

A huge thank you to Mallow Garda Station, Community Garda John, and everyone involved in organising such a warm and welcoming event 👏

🎉 A proud moment for everyone at Bridhaven! 🎉 We believe that personal achievements deserve to be recognised and celebrated, and this week we were delighted to congratulate Chef Felipe, a valued member of our catering team, on graduating from Cork College of FET with a Diploma in Baking and Pastry 👨‍🍳🍰.

Felipe's dedication to developing his skills and pursuing his passion is an inspiration to us all. We were delighted to mark this special milestone alongside his colleagues, who joined in celebrating his success, as he received congratulations from our Director of Nursing. 👏

Reaching 90 years of age is a remarkable milestone, and it was a privilege to celebrate such an important occasion with Sheila. Birthdays like these are wonderful opportunities to celebrate not just the years, but the stories, experiences, and friendships that make each person unique. Sheila's warmth and presence are greatly valued within our Bridhaven community, and we were delighted to share this memorable day with her.

From beautiful floral displays and inspiring garden ideas to enjoying the vibrant atmosphere and spending quality time together, the outing was filled with smiles, conversation, and memorable moments.
